Thanks to phenomenon of selective photothermolysis the light of the laser is converted into heat absorbed by melanin of the hair, which results in destruction of the hair follicles. Result of the treatment will be determined by whether the hair was in the right phase of the cycle which means it needs to be repeated several times in time intervals. Laser Hair Removal

Laser hair removal is illuminating selected parts of the skin with monochromatic beam of light. The laser light penetrates the skin without damaging it’s surface and tissues or organs but affecting just the hair follicle where it is absorbed by the melanin. As a consequence the hair bulb gets destroyed and hair follicle stops stimulating the hair growth of the new hair. The treatment should be repeated due to the fact that laser destroys the hair in active growth phase and not all hair grow at the same time. Performing 4-8 sessions at several weeks intervals allows a significant reduction of the number of regrowing hair.

Pigmentation

Pigment disorder is a discoloration visible on the skin. It can be darker then the natural skin colour and then we call it hyperpigmentation or lighter; called hypopigmentation. Skin discoloration arise as a result of endo- or exogenous factors. One of the most common reasons for appearance of hyperpigmentation is UV light, that it why it is very important to use the creams with UV protection all year round. However when we got sun hyperpigmentation already we can decide for laser therapy, which will permanently destroy melanocytes (melanin cells) and inhibit thair formation.
